Dashboard overview
A tour of the sidebar, the home page, the projects list and the workspace switcher.
On this page
The dashboard is everything outside a project. It is a fixed sidebar down the left and one page to the right of it, and every part of it is scoped to the workspace you are currently in.
The sidebar
The logo sits at the top, the workspace switcher under it, then five links.
| Link | Where it goes |
|---|---|
| Home | /dashboard, the prompt box and your recent work |
| Projects | /dashboard/projects, the full list with search and sort |
| Templates | Finished sites you can clone and then change |
| Connectors | The services the AI can read and act in |
| Skills | Reusable instruction sets you attach to a build |
Projects carries a caret. Opening it nests your folders underneath, with New Folder at the bottom of the list. Folders can be dragged into the order you want. See Folders.
Below the links sit Share and Earn and Contact Support, then your social links, then the user menu. Share and Earn is the affiliate program, and it opens on your own referral code.
Two cards can appear above them. N pending invitations when someone has invited you to their workspace, and a red Payment failed! card reading Update your billing details to keep your plan and sites active. with Manage Subscription when a renewal did not go through. On the Free plan you also get an Upgrade to Pro card with the line You are minutes away from a completed live website. and a See Plans button.
Below the mobile breakpoint the sidebar collapses behind a menu button and slides in as a drawer, holding the same things.
The user menu
The row at the very bottom shows your avatar, your name and your email. Opening it gives the five navigation links again, then Profile and Tokens, then links out to the Modulify home page, the terms and the privacy policy, and finally Logout.
Home
Home is the prompt box and a shortcut to recent work. The greeting is picked at random for the session and addresses you by first name.
Under the box are two tabs, My projects and Modulify templates, with View all on the right taking you to the full list or the full template gallery. A workspace with no projects opens on the templates tab, so there is always something to click.
The projects page
/dashboard/projects is headed Projects, with Create and manage all the projects in your workspace. Folder cards come first, then project cards, and the list loads more as you scroll.
A Search projects box sits on the left of the row above them and a sort control on the right, holding Latest Updated, Oldest Updated, Latest Created, Oldest Created, Name Ascending and Name Descending. Both write to the URL, so the view is a link you can send to a teammate. Search reaches across every folder in the workspace, which is why folder cards hide while a search is active. Search and filters has the full matching rules.
The Create button at the top right holds Create project, which returns you to the home prompt box, and Create folder.
Project cards
A card is a thumbnail of the site with the project name under it, and below that either Edited and a relative time next to the avatar of whoever last changed it, or Created and a time if nobody has edited it yet.
Hovering a card reveals a three dots button beside the name, and right clicking anywhere on the card opens the same menu. It runs from Open Project and Copy Project Link through Duplicate, Transfer, Move to Workspace and Move to Folder, ending in a red Delete. Entries you cannot use are disabled with a tooltip saying why, rather than hidden. Projects documents every item.
Hovering also reveals a checkbox in the top left. Ticking one opens a bar along the bottom of the screen for acting on several projects at once.
When the list is empty
An empty workspace reads No projects with Create your first project to get started. and a Create project button. A search that matches nothing reads No results with Try a different name or clear search.
The workspace switcher
The switcher at the top of the sidebar shows the workspace you are in. Opening it is how you reach almost everything that is not a project.
The header repeats the workspace avatar and name with its plan and member count under it, as Pro - 4 members. Then three shortcuts, Settings, Members and Plans.
Where credits show
Under those shortcuts sits the Credits row. It gives the balance as 620 left, a bar showing how much of the total is still there, and a line underneath naming the reset. On a paid plan that reads Resets on Sep 1, 2026, and on Free it reads Credits reset monthly on paid plans. Clicking the row opens the Plans page.
The balance belongs to the workspace, so it changes when you switch workspaces and it falls when a teammate builds something. Credits covers what spends it.
Moving between workspaces
Under All workspaces every workspace you belong to is listed, each showing its owner's plan and a star if it is your default. Create Workspace sits at the bottom, disabled once you own five with the label Workspace limit reached (5).
Switching workspace switches the whole dashboard, including the projects, the folders, the members and the billing. Workspaces covers ownership, defaults and transfers.
