Read your account
get_account
Reads the account the token belongs to, with its name, email, avatar, phone and email, notification and sound preferences.
It always reads the token holder, cannot be pointed at anybody else and needs no workspace. Use it when you want to know what your account says, or before update_account so that only what you meant changes.
The answer carries _id, Name, Email, Avatar and Phone, your email, notification and sound preferences under Settings as Emails, Notifications and Sounds, and your referral code and payout email under Affiliate, as Code and PayPalEmail. Nothing else about your account is returned. update_affiliate rewrites both referral fields on every call, so it needs the one you are not changing sent back. See Your account.
Request
Call it with a POST to https://api.modulify.ai/v1/get_account. It takes no inputs, so send an empty JSON object or no body at all. The token needs the account:read scope.
It only reads and changes nothing, so retrying it is safe.
curl -X POST https://api.modulify.ai/v1/get_account \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{}'Over MCP, the same method is the get_account tool.
Inputs
This tool takes no inputs.
Response
Every call answers with the JSON envelope of success, message, data, code and version. data holds the result described above, and on a method that returns a total, count carries it. The response headers carry the call's X-Request-Id and what is left of your per-minute budget in X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining and X-RateLimit-Reset. Errors explains every status code a call can answer with.
