Web design agencies, city by city

Web design agencies charge between $45 and $350 an hour depending on where they are, and the gap has little to do with quality. This directory lists studios across the United States and Europe with what they charge, which platforms they build on, and the work they publish, so you can compare like for like. Pick a market to see who is there.

Choosing a web design agency

The questions buyers ask before they shortlist.

Most established agencies in the US start at $25,000 to $50,000 for a marketing site and bill $100 to $350 an hour. European rates run lower, from roughly €45 an hour in Poland and Portugal to CHF 280 in Switzerland. Every location page lists the real range for that market.

Every studio is listed on its own merits, with the pricing, platforms, and work it publishes. There is no ranking and no scoring, lists are alphabetical, and no agency has paid to be included or placed higher.

Local matters when the work needs in-person research, photography, or stakeholder workshops. For most website projects it no longer does, and hiring across borders can cut cost significantly for the same quality. Timezone overlap matters more than distance.

Building it yourself with an AI site builder. That covers most cases where you already know your message and mainly need the site to look right, work on mobile, and go live. Agencies remain the better answer for original brand strategy and complex custom builds.
