Modulify checks it live with Name.com, the registrar it works with, and lists which extensions are free for that name and what they cost. If your first choice is taken, try a shorter variation, add a word that describes what you do, or pick another extension.
It depends on the extension. On Modulify a new .com costs $14.29 for the first year and renews at $21.99 per year, while extensions such as .io and .ai cost more. Every search result shows the price of its first term and what renewing it costs, and WHOIS privacy is included for free where the extension offers it.
Yes. Search for a name here, choose Register domain, and finish the order on the Domains page of your Modulify dashboard. The domain belongs to your workspace, and while it uses Modulify's nameservers Modulify adds the DNS records your site needs. Yes. On a paid plan, open your site's Domain panel, enter the domain, and add the DNS records Modulify shows you at your DNS provider: an A record for a root domain or a CNAME for a subdomain, plus a TXT record that proves you own it. Modulify issues the certificate once the records point at it.
