# Plans Source: https://modulify.ai/docs/plans/plans What Free, Starter, Pro and Enterprise each include, and how the plan page works. A plan belongs to a workspace, not to you. Each workspace you own carries its own plan, its own credit balance and its own billing, so upgrading one workspace does nothing for another. Open the workspace menu and choose **Plans** to see the page. It arrives as 30 the moment you create your account and 5 more a day for the next four days, and it never resets. Pro shows the same 100 included credits as Starter, but a Pro credit buys twice the AI work. See [Credits](/docs/plans/credits) for why. Annual billing on Starter and Pro costs ten months for twelve. Exporting your code, your database, your storage or your analytics all refuse on Free with the message `A paid plan is required to export!`. Adding an extra site is also paid only, and so is moving a site's code into your own GitHub organisation or account, covered in [Move your code to GitHub](/docs/editor/move-code-to-github). ## What the plan page shows The page has three parts. ### Credits remaining A card at the top left showing your balance, a progress bar and a **Purchase credits** button. Under the bar it reads `Resets on ` for a paid workspace. A free one reads `Credits reset monthly on paid plans`, or, while the first four days of daily top ups are still running and your spending has started drawing on the free allowance rather than on top up credits, the countdown to the next one as `5 free credits arrive in 7 hours`. ### The Enterprise card Top right, with the button **Book a demo**. Enterprise is arranged with the Modulify team rather than bought from the page, and an Enterprise workspace cannot change its own billing: the other cards read **Unavailable**. ### The plan cards Free, Starter and Pro side by side. Each card carries the plan name, its description, the price, an **Annual** switch, two dropdowns and the action button. The Annual switch starts on, so the first price you see is the annual one. ## The two dropdowns Every card has an **AI credits** and a **Sites** dropdown. On Free and Enterprise they are locked and only report what the plan gives you, the Free card reading `50 credits total` and the Enterprise card `1,000 credits / month`. On Starter and Pro they are live, and changing them changes the price on the card before you buy. **AI credits** offers six monthly amounts: 100, 200, 600, 1,000, 3,000 and 5,000 credits per month. Anything above the included 100 is charged at your plan's per-credit rate, $0.25 on Starter and $0.50 on Pro, added to the plan price. Choosing annual applies the same discount to the extra credits as to the plan. **Sites** offers totals from the one included up to ten. Each extra site is $10 per month or $120 per year. ## What the button says The action button changes with the state of your subscription, and reading it tells you what will happen. | Button | When it appears | |---|---| | Try Now | You are on Free and looking at Starter or Pro | | Current | You are already on this plan | | Upgrade to Pro | You are on Starter, looking at Pro | | Downgrade to Starter | You are on Pro, looking at Starter | | Downgrade to Free | You are on a paid plan, looking at Free | | Downgrade scheduled | You already cancelled, so Free is queued for the end of the period | | Resume plan | You cancelled and are looking at the plan you are still on | | Save changes | You changed the credits or sites dropdown on your own plan | | Book a demo | The Enterprise card | | Unavailable | The change is not offered from here | **Unavailable** shows most often for a billing period mismatch. With an annual subscription, the cards priced monthly will not act, and the same in reverse. ## Who can do any of this Only the workspace owner.
