# add_comment_reaction

Adds an emoji reaction to a comment or a reply.

- Access: Makes changes

Each person holds one reaction per comment or reply, and reactions work on replies too, not only on root comments. Reacting again with a different one replaces yours, and reacting again with the same one is refused with a 400 and `You have already reacted with this emoji!` See [Comments](https://modulify.ai/docs/editor/comments#read-and-reply).
