# get_bought_domain

Reads one domain the workspace bought, with its registrant for the workspace owner.

The answer carries everything `list_bought_domains` returns for the domain, the four auto-renew fields and `RenewBy`, the last day an expired domain can still be renewed, included, plus `TransferLockExpires_At`, set while the registrar keeps its own lock on the domain, for example after a change of owner, and `Contact`, the registrant on file. `Contact` is filled in only for the workspace owner, and `CanSeeContact` says whether it was. Every member of the workspace can read the domain.

Reading it also refreshes the domain from Name.com in the background, at most every 15 minutes, so a change made at the registrar shows on a later read. See [Open a domain's page](https://modulify.ai/docs/publish/buy-a-domain#open-a-domains-page).
