# get_account

Reads the account the token belongs to, with its name, email, avatar, phone and email, notification and sound preferences.

It always reads the token holder, cannot be pointed at anybody else and needs no workspace. Use it when you want to know what your account says, or before `update_account` so that only what you meant changes.

The answer carries `_id`, `Name`, `Email`, `Avatar` and `Phone`, your email, notification and sound preferences under `Settings` as `Emails`, `Notifications` and `Sounds`, and your referral code and payout email under `Affiliate`, as `Code` and `PayPalEmail`. Nothing else about your account is returned. `update_affiliate` rewrites both referral fields on every call, so it needs the one you are not changing sent back.
